We set out to create a wine brand that stood for quality, sustainability and passion. Many years later these qualities still ring true in a brand renowned for both its wine making and bistro.

A partnership from the beginning

Amisfield is a specialist producer of premium wine created from fruit grown on their estate vineyard located at the foot of the Pisa Range in Central Otago. High altitude, cool climate, long summers, and sustainable practices allow them to produce some of New Zealand’s best Pinot Noirs and aromatic white wines. The wines express Amisfield’s grape growing and wine making philosophy of minimal intervention and expression of fruit purity.

More than a project, we have worked consistently with the team at Amisfield from the initial conception of the brand in 2002, through to today. Being trusted to continue developing the Amisfield brand has been one of Feast’s most rewarding challenges to date.

We set out to create a wine brand that stood for quality and sustainability, it needed to evoke Amisfield’s unfailing passion for what they do, within all aspects of their business, whilst at all times being approachable, intelligent and sophisticated. Inspired by Amisfield’s iconic building, we created a brand identity, giving a strong link to the location and home of the winery and bistro at Lake Hayes. The strap line ‘Grown not made’ was essentially a quality statement, summing up the values of the brand, which we employed in a number of visual ways to help distinguish the brand from its competitors.

All these years later, we are proud to continue our work with Amisfield, evolving and growing their brand. We have showcased the variety of work through the years implemented across many different media including print, packaging, advertising and web.
